How it works
CrowdQuill is a living anthology. Every book is built one page at a time by people who each have something to say — and the whole is greater than the sum of its pages.
Pick a page in the current book and make it yours. A single page costs £2, or subscribers claim three a month with the Monthly Pass.
Up to 700 words of whatever the book asks for — a memory, a confession, a flight of fancy. Your voice joins the chorus, set in type beside everyone else's.
When the book closes, every claimed page is bound together. Your name lands in the credits, and the finished work is there to read and keep.
Most books are written by one person, in one room, over one long stretch of time. CrowdQuill flips that. A book opens, a hundred pages go up for grabs, and a hundred different hands set the words. Strangers become co-authors; a fragment becomes a volume.
Each book has a two-week window. When it closes — whether it fills up or runs out of time — the pages are gathered, the credits are set, and the anthology moves on to its next chapter. If a book closes too thin, the writers who showed up are thanked with a free page in the next one.
You can keep the pages you claim, or pass them on. Subscribers can gift a page to a friend who isn't on the list yet, so the book reaches voices that might never have found it otherwise.
Drop your email and we'll let you know the moment a new book opens.
